Watch : Gents Bulova Caravelle Wrist Watch, 1973

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement carries the date code for 1973. The watch measures 34mm wide excluding the winding crown and 33mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case is in lovely condition. The back of the watch has the same date code for 1973. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in beautiful condition with original hands, centre seconds hand and a date display at 6 o’clock… this is an early form of quickset date which is initially set by repeatedly turning the hands backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
